Denis Diderot is one of the most famous French philosophers. What is less known when it comes to Diderot is the fact that he was also an art critic and writer. Diderot was regarded and remains one of the most prominent personalities during the Enlightenment. He served as co-founder, chief editor, and contributor to the Encyclopedie.
Diderot is the author of the famous dialogue, “Le Neveu de Rameau”, upon which many articles and sermons about consumer desire have been based.
