Jay Carney

Jay Carney is an American journalist and served as a White House press secretary for President Barack Obama. From 2014 to 2015, he worked as a senior political analyst at CNN. He served as White House press secretary, from 2011 to 2014 and his resignation was accepted by President Barack Obama, on May 30,2014.

From 2008 to 2011,he was director of communications for Vice President Joe Biden. He worked as the Time Magazine Washington bureau chief, from 2005 to 2008 and was a regular contributor in the “round-table” segment of This Week with George Stephanopoulos for ABC News.
