Chris Christie was born in New Jersey. Currently he serves as the Republican governor of New Jersey. Christie is well-known for his combative style and for being popular with Republicans throughout the US. His battle with powerful teachers’ unions mobilized strong opposition to many of his policies. However, he won national acclaim for his ability to move legislation forward.

When it comes to his personal life, Christie is known for his extreme weight. He reportedly weighed more than 300 pounds. He announced that he had lost a staggering 40 pounds as a result of a weight loss procedure.
