Catherine Deneuve

Catherine Deneuve was born in Paris. It was in the 60’s that she rose to stardom, due to her appearance in “The Umbrellas of Cherbourg”. Deneuve has continued to work constantly ever since. Trough out her career, she received two Cesar awards and in 1992 was nominated for an Academy Award.

Due to her exceptional merits as a French-born international actress, Catherine Deneuve was selected by the European Film Academy to receive a lifetime achievement award in December 2013. Aside from film projects, Deneuve is known for her many endorsements of beauty products and perfumes.
