Angelina Jolie is an internationally recognized actress and film director, who has won an Academy Award, two Screen Actors Guild Awards, as well as three Golden Globe Awards. In 2013, she was rated by Forbes as Hollywood’s highest paid actress and is considered by some to be the world’s most beautiful woman. Jolie is also well known for her humanitarian relief work and was a former Goodwill Ambassador for the UNHCR.

Jolie began her film career with the low budget movie ‘Cyborg 2’ (1993). She had other notable roles during the 90’s and in 1999 won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in “Girl, Interrupted”.

Jolie’s relationship with fellow actor Brad Pitt has received much media attention as well as her adoption of children from various under-developed countries.
