Madeleine Albright is a former US Secretary of State from the Clinton administration, with a distinction by being the first female Secretary of State. She holds a PhD in International Affairs from Columbia University.
She faced several controversies including a fairly bitter one about not acknowledging her Jewish heritage. Her views about the death of over half a million Iraqi children due to sanctions, created quite a stir, she said, “It’s a hard choice, but I think, we, think, it’s worth it.” Another acrimonious comment was, “What’s the point of having this superb military you’re always talking about, if we can’t use it?”
