George Savile was an English politician who sat in the House of Commons from 1759 to 1783. Savile was born in Savile House, London, the only son of Sir George Savile, 7th Baronet and Lady Savile, of Rufford Abbey, Nottinghamshire and inherited his baronetcy on the death of his father in 1743. Savile was educated at Queens’ College, Cambridge.
