Doris Lessing was a British novelist, biographer and short story writer, but she also enjoyed writing poetry. Her most famous novels are: “The Grass is Singing” and “The Good Terrorist”. She has also authored five novels which are collectively known as “Canopus in Argos: Archives”.
In 2007, Lessing was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature. She was the 11th woman and the oldest person ever to receive the Nobel Prize in Literature.
