Bob Dylan was born Robert Allen Zimmerman on May 24th 1941 in Duluth, Minnesota. Now, he is one of the most famous folk rock singer-songwriters in the world. Dylan started performing folk and country songs while he was attending college. It was during this period that he took the stage name "Bob Dylan."
He signed his first recording contract in 1961. He has continued to tour in recent years and his most recent studio albums are "Together Through Life" and "Tempest". Bob Dylan is one of the best selling artists of all times, as throughout his career he has sold millions of albums worldwide.
